This month we have been heavy into our International Motorsport Association (IMSA) project in coordination with the JDC-Miller Motorsports Audi RS3. The latest event was at beautiful Laguna Seca raceway in Monterey, CA. Due to Covid regulations, unfortunately no students could attend. Cole was there representing MAAP and worked with the drivers and team to get the Audi into pole position for the race start! Due to a technical infraction the car had to start from the back, but Audi driver Chris Miller steadily worked through the field and Mikey Taylor brought it home as the top finishing Audi in 4th position at the end. We hear the next round at Virginia International Raceway in October will be more open and are hoping there will be student representation.
Our partnership with IMSA provides opportunities in motorsport to our student interns throughout the year and directly connects back to our mission.
