Student Projects
Here, you can find projects that MAAP interns have worked on over the past years. MAAP now provides 3D Printing files so you can create your own parts for your Porsche at home. Take a look at the files below to see the impressive work of MAAP’s student interns.

356 Sunroof Cup
Created by ISAT intern, Jack Sellers, this part was vital for our client’s Porsche 356B Super 90. This part is known as a sunroof handle cup. Vintage Porsches often require parts that are either expensive or unavailable. The sunroof handle cup, which fits snugly between the sunroof’s upholstery and latch mechanism, was one such elusive piece. By clicking the download button below, you can 3D print this part for your own 356.

This is a piston that was designed by our former intern Erik. This was made for his 1974 Honda CL-360 2-cyclinder motorcycle. It was made out of 4032 Aluminum, courtesy of MAAP.
Project Grey Ghost by Kai McCloskey
Industrial Design intern, Kai McCloskey created a render of celebrity, Michael Strahan’s 911SC (also known as Project Grey Ghost). After crashing, the car is now a potential “outlaw” project to whomever would like to purchase it next. This is what it could look like.
Andrew Zirkle’s Trip to Daytona
Engineering intern, Andrew Zirkle made a trip to Daytona for the “Roar Before the 24” with JDC Miller Motorsport. Read about his experience with ChassisSim and the exciting fast-paced work he accomplished with the team.
Project Creamsicle by Kai McCloskey
