MAAP Partner JDC Miller Continues Audi TCR Podium Run

By Cole Scrogham

The JDC Unitronic Audi is leading the IMSA Michelin Pilot Touring Car standings after 3 wins and a 3rd to start the season. Drivers Chris Miller and Mikey Taylor are off to a great start in 2024, and this program has benefitted multiple MAAP Interns over the years. Four MAAP Interns have worked in this program since 2018 with duties ranging from data acquisition to tire management and general engineering duties. Combining real world Motorsport experiences with classroom learning is one of the ways the MAAP tries to connect the dots for students with aspirations in the industry. MAAP founder Cole Scrogham helps with the Engineering side of the program and supports the team during races with Race Strategy.

“I wish more students knew this was an avenue available to them, we have had some great interns in our Motorsport program over the years and want to continue to grow opportunities there as well as in our traditional Restoration programs. There are so many ways to be involved in the Automotive world, from Design to History to Business to Engineering etc there really is something for everyone.” – Cole Scrogham
