MAAP had the honor of hosting the Porsche Club of America for an exclusive class. Car enthusiasts and collectors gathered to gain valuable insights from Cole Scrogham, MAAP’s Executive Director, and Michael Scrogham, Assistant to the Executive Director, on how to maintain fuel quality in vehicles that aren’t driven regularly. Cole explained his approach to fuel storage with the Porsche 904, a rare and historically significant model. He shared that he uses 98 octane fuel and drains the tank every month to prevent degradation. Since many collector cars spend more time in garages than on the road, proper fuel maintenance is essential to preserving performance and preventing long-term engine issues.
